Also a former Executive at Capitol/EMI Records. He is better known in the music industry in Hip-Hop circles as an Executive Producer/Artist Manager launching the careers or working with artist such as The Beastie Boys, The Pharcyde, Foxy Brown, Channel Live, Spragga Benz, Ras Kass to name a few. Originally from the first wave of Electronic Music Producers, DJ/Promoters from Chicago, Lono was instrumental in bringing Disco, House Music, African, Latin and Electronic to the forefront of the music scene and is still to this day regarded as an true ambasador of Quality Music."

Brett & I will be DJing from ten until midnight, then Lono will spin for the rest of the evening.

First off, my review of Alchemist's new record was published today at Pitchfork.

Party on Saturday went really well ... thanks to everyone who came out & danced til 4AM "til the cops came knocking" (per Maxwell). We'll be doing another one very soon, and this time the headliner is gonna be a pretty amazing DJ, so hit me up if you're in Chicago & interested in dancing the nite away....
